چکیده
All first-generation large-scale gravitational wave detectors are operated at the dark fringe and use a heterodyne readout employing radio frequency (RF) modulation-demodulation techniques. However, the experience in the currently running interferometers reveals several problems connected with a heterodyne readout, of which phase noise of the RF modulation is the most serious one. A homodyne detection scheme (DC-readout), using the highly stabilized and filtered carrier light as local oscillator for the readout, is considered to be a favourable alternative. Recently a DC-readout scheme was implemented on the GEO600 detector. We describe the results of first measurements and give a comparison of the performance achieved with homodyne and heterodyne readout. The implications of the combined use of DC-readout and signal recycling are considered. PACS numbers: 04.80.Nn, 95.75.Kk

We present the Fourier Transform of the data output of gravitational wave laser in-terferometer for continuous gravitational wave. We have analysed the data set for one day observation time and our analysis is applicable for arbitrary location of detector and source. We have taken into account the effects arising due to rotational as well as orbital motions of earth.

A search for periodic gravitational-wave signals from isolated neutron stars in the NAUTILUS detector data is presented. We have analyzed half a year of data over the frequency band 〈922.2; 923.2〉Hz, the spindown range 〈−1.463 × 10; 0〉Hz/s and over the entire sky. We have divided the data into 2 day stretches and we have analyzed each stretch coherently using matched filtering. We have imposed ...
